NOLA CONTEMPORARY BALLET 2020-2021 VIRTUAL AUDITIONS

It’s our inaugural performance season, and we are looking for technically strong and artistically versatile female and male dancers.

NOLA Contemporary Ballet is currently accepting video submissions for our 2020-2021 virtual auditions.

Online Submission Deadline: July 10th, 2020 11:59pm CST


Submission should include:

“2020-2021 Auditions” in the subject line of the email

Resume/CV

Headshot

Video link (youtube, vimeo) 



Video requirements:

Three to four minutes in length maximum

Video should include:

Ballet technique section (short barre or center)

Short modern, contemporary or jazz technique section

Short performance in the style of your choice

Personal presentation: With camera zoomed in to just the  face and chest showing, introduce yourself, talk a little about yourself including your interests and goals in the short and long term


All applicants will be notified via email with audition results and/or call back information. 


Come audition to join a new dance company dedicated to preserving the culture of Louisiana through the art of dance!

Artistic Director, Tianna Pourciau Sykes' work, Ghosts of the past by was selected to be presented at Drapinski Dance Theater's Catharsis Series in Orlando, FL. 


January 12th at 8pm

Orlando Repertory Theater.

D’PROJECT, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Modern Dance Company, founded in 2000 by EDDY VILLALTA and JOHN STOCKWELL. Over the last decade, D'PROJECT has grown to become an important organization in the New Orleans performing

arts arena. D'PROJECT is best known for creating the Southern Voices: Dance Out Loud festival, which brings to the stage over 100 performing artists annually.
