NOLA Contemporary Ballet is seeking local, professional dancers for upcoming productions.
Applicants should have a strong classical ballet and contemporary dance background as well as experience in improvisation.

Video Submission Requirements
All submissions should include:
1. “2026-2027 Season Auditions” in the subject line of the email
2. YouTube or Vimeo Video link of the items below
3. Personal Introduction (with camera zoomed in to just the face and chest showing, introduce yourself, talk a little about yourself including your interests and goals in the short and long term)
4. Ballet Technique (2-4 minutes total of barre, center, grand allegro, including pointe work if applicable)
5. Contemporary Dance performance (1-2 minutes)

2026 | 2027 SEASON AUDITIONS
NOLA Contemporary Ballet is seeking passionate, disciplined, versatile, and highly trained dance artists to join the company for its 2026 | 2027 Season.
IN-PERSON AUDITION: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2026
Location: Arabesque Ballet Theater International
Address: 5150 LA-22, Mandeville, LA 70471
Audition Time: 11am- 12pm
The in-person audition will include ballet technique and contemporary movement, with opportunities for dancers to demonstrate their artistry, versatility, musicality, and performance quality.
Applicants should come prepared to participate fully in a professional company audition environment.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
NOLA Contemporary Ballet welcomes accomplished dance artists who are:
18 years of age or older
Classically trained in ballet,Strong and versatile in contemporary movement, Musical, expressive, and collaborative
Professional, disciplined, and committed to the artistic process
Authorized to work in the United States
Artists selected through the audition process may be considered for Company and Apprentice positions for the 2026 | 2027 Season.
REGISTRATION & AUDITION MATERIALS
Registration is required for the in-person audition.
All audition materials and applicant information should be submitted through the NOLA Contemporary Ballet Audition Registration Form.
Registration must be completed prior to audition.
Applicants will receive audition details and additional information by email following registration.
